David has been a Westhoughton town councillor for 27 years, a Bolton councillor for 21 years and Mayor twice. He has lived in Westhoughton all of his life and has a son, Michael. He is a former engineer who now works for a train company.

Bernadette is a Westhoughton town councillor representing the Wingates ward and was elected in the January 2017 by-election. Having moved to the town nine years ago for the “village” feel, she is keen to support our independent businesses in and around the Westhoughton area. Bernadette is a lawyer in Bolton and married with an 18-year-old step son.

He has been a town councillor for 13 years and a Bolton councillor for 8 years. Derek knows many of the issues that young families face in Westhoughton.

John also ran a shop on Market Street and knows the concerns of running a small business here. He has lived in Westhoughton all his life.
