A man has been charged with murder after a 28-year-old was fatally shot in the head.
Nathan Aaron Daniels, 27, is accused of killing Michael Blake, who was found with a gunshot wound to the back of his head and one to his leg in Bolton on Thursday November 3.
Police were called to the scene in Manchester Road, Westhoughton, at about 11.10pm after an initial report of a hit-and-run crash.
Mr Blake was taken to hospital but died shortly after 10am on Friday November 4.
In a statement issued after his death, his family said: “He was always happy and smiling, and hardly ever gave his mother any reason to worry.
“He was always hard-working and trying to better himself.”
Daniels, of Nottingham Avenue, Stockport, will appear at Bolton Magistrates’ Court today.
