A £27billion black hole has today emerged in Labour’s spending plans.
Embattled Labour leader Ed Miliband has lost the support of many of his own party members and is using his party’s conference in Brighton this week to try and turn around his fortunes.
He has this weekend unveiled a raft of ideas that he hopes will win him the next General Election in 2015.
But it emerged that the plans are completely uncosted.
It has been claimed that it would mean another £1,000 of borrowing for every family.
Mr Miliband struggled to explain how he would pay for his ideas when interview by BBC journalist Andrew Marr this morning.
