Commuters who use Daisy Hill railway station have backed our four-point plan to sort out the station and its parking.
Councillor David Wilkinson and the Westhoughton Liberal Democrat team are campaigning for four major improvements:
- ̣New shelters on the platform to keep people dry and warm in the winter
- ̣Resurfacing of the dirt car park to create additional parking spaces and new CCTV to cut
car crime - ̣Double yellow lines to stop cars parking dangerously on the narrow main road
- ̣Wheelchair and pram access to the platform level
