Exciting plans for a new micro-pub have been unveiled for an empty Market Street shop.
The micro-pub, which we understand will also run brewery classes by day, could open at 88 Market Street if granted permission.
A Westhoughton couple are hoping to open their business in the building that has laid empty since November 2009, except for a short spell when it was a pet store.

Horwich now has has a number of micro-pubs and breweries as the trend for them across the country grows.
Westhoughton councillor David Wilkinson, who is leading a campaign to make it easier for new businesses to set up in the town, said: “It is fantastic to see a local couple investing in Westhoughton and wanting to open up a new business.
“These micro-pubs are becoming increasingly popular wherever you go.”
The landlord of the building is currently carrying out external repair works.
An application for the micro-pub has been submitted to Bolton Council and the plans will be considered by Westhoughton town councillors in May.
