A new Card Factory will be opening in Westhoughton at the former police post off Pavilion Square.
They are looking for new sales assistants. Apply at www.cardfactoryjobs.co.uk/jobs/39487 by June 26.
Westhoughton town councillor David Wilkinson said: “It’s great news to see another empty shop unit being filled.”
Plans for a Costa coffee in the same unit fell through several weeks ago as the national chain struggles to continue expanding.
So the “unauthorised” removal of the trees and shrubs next to the former police post was pointless. Another little bit of wildlife habitat bites the dust. Thanks to Costa Coffee.
WAt least it’s not another take away or barbers or charity/pound shop so that’s good news. A little competition for. GTs . I must also say that I do agree with Ann Jones Costa should have not been allowed to touch anything until bona Fidel contracts are agreed. But that’s good old Bolton council for you is it not.
