Since we wrote about the plans to convert the former Tinniswoods toy store in Market Street into a shop and restaurant, there has been a huge amount of interest in the development. It will be called the Provenance Food Hall & Restaurant. Here, owner Brian Tinniswood reveals their plans.
We know it has taken quite some time to sort the building out properly, and the team here appreciate there has been ongoing interest (and patience) in the local area.
The restaurant’s kitchen is already producing exceptional food as we test dishes, and the shop element is coming together now works have finished; apart from the new front doors and signage, we’re almost ready.
We are planning to open beginning of June and we are looking to hire some 20 + staff in the coming weeks.
We have started interviewing and we are really pleased with both the number of applicants and the quality of those that have already come to interview. We will continue to conduct interviews over the next week and a half.
Westhoughton has a lot of talent and we would like to thank everyone who has applied so far.
