Westhoughton town councillor Bernadette Eckersley-Fallon has welcomed the new street lighting along the footpath from Manchester Road to Church Street.
Bernadette said: “Westhoughton residents have been asking for these improvements for some years now so it is great to see the work has finally been carried out.
“But where else could benefit from these improvements? Let us know.”
