Plans for 14 houses off Dixon Street return despite refusal

A developer has resubmitted identical plans for 14 houses on the same site at the end of Dixon Street, in Wingates.

Only a few weeks ago the planning application for 14 houses was refused by the Planning Inspectorate.

Wingates town councillor Bernadette Eckersley-Fallon said: “It’s unbelievable that an application which was refused on appeal by the Planning Inspectorate is now back again. It appears that this developer just can’t take no for an answer.”
