Westhoughton’s Poppy Appeal raises £10,729

The total for the Poppy collection in Westhoughton for this year is £10,729.

This is up on last year but on par with previous years.

Westhoughton councillor David Wilkinson, who laid a wreath on behalf of Westhoughton Liberal Democrats, said: “This is a fantastic sum of money for the very worthwhile cause that is the Royal British Legion. Well done to everyone.”
